Introduction

I ordered these flowers at about 9.30 a.m. and requested them to be delivered before 3 p.m. They arrived at my doorstep about 2:50 p.m. So they got here before 3, but not much sooner, but that's okay. It was still before 3.
Assessing the Arrangement
00:31
The arrangement looks very similar and the price point is similar to what I saw and ordered on the website. It is not exactly like what I ordered, but the substitutions that they made were on point to keep it that tropical feel. So instead of getting the ginger that was shown in the picture, they subbed it with protea.
Comparing Order

One there and one here. This is what I ordered and this is what I got. Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of this arrangement.
Quality

The roses here were firm at the bulb, so they don't seem to be too old. The Dusty Miller is velvety and still perky instead of being extra droopy. The Dendrobium orchids were good. They were crushed down a little bit too much, but the carnations are in good shape. All of the greenery looks great and fresh. One thing here that I see is that I would have taken the Stamen, the pollen out of the lily here, you just pop it out. Most customers don't know that you can do that, and if it's left in, it will get very fuzzy and can stain countertops and granite and all of that. So I always try to make sure if my lilies are open a little bit that I pull those out. So that's something that I definitely would have done differently. So overall, the quality was pretty great, and I was pleased with that. So they will score pretty high for quality. The only other thing that I saw quality-wise was one of the protea, this one right here, it must be a little older than the other one because that one's good. But the other one looked a little molded on the outside and it hasn't held up quite as well. You see down at the bottom that little bit of brown, it's just not quite the best quality, but that's really the only bad thing that I saw.
Experience

It was pretty easy to find their website and navigate it. What I did like about their website is that there's a lot of variety. Not everything looks exactly the same. There's a lot of different color, a lot of different feel. They're not all cookie-cutter like you would get from 1-800-Flowers, Teleflora, FTD.com. you know, neutrals too. So this is what I chose on the website. I picked the standard edition of it. I ordered same-day delivery for before 3 p.m. You choose your arrangement, you can pick your add-ons, you can leave a card message, and also special delivery directions. So I left a door code and they were able to get that off of the ticket and it was delivered without a phone call needed. They texted me a picture of the arrangement when they arrived to let me know that it was at the doorstep. So yeah, the ease of ordering was very good. Overall, this Orchid Florist in Houston, Texas, I would give a five for the delivery, a four and a half for quality, and five for ease of ordering.
