Introduction and Product Selection
Time Stamp: 00:00-00:29
I ordered flowers from Ace Flowers in Houston, Texas, and here's my review. On their home page, anything that is different is pretty pricey. You're looking at $100 plus. Another thing I noticed is that anything that is affordable is very generic. So if you hop over to Teleflora, it's the same exact arrangements. They're using Teleflora products. And you can see here, if you order anything that is under $100, it's going to look like anything else from any other flower shop.
Uniqueness and Delivery Timing
Time Stamp: 00:29-00:54
There's just nothing unique about it. I ordered on August 16th at 9.48 a.m. For a same-day delivery to be delivered to a business, it closes at two and I made the note to be delivered before 1.30 p.m. My order was not delivered until 2.10 p.m. that same day. So they missed the mark on that because my recipient would be gone.
Quality of Flowers Received
Time Stamp: 00:54-01:28
This is the arrangement I chose. And here's what I got. Now, on the quality, you can see the roses that I'm touching here are very blown. You don't ever wanna be able to smash your roses like that, especially when you first get it. They're very soft. The yellow roses were okay, but all of the pink were way too soft and they won't last more than a couple of days, especially in this arrangement that they foamed, which I would not have chosen to foam because those tulips and the roses don't have enough water supply. Here you can see there's a little bit of mold on that Solidago, which is also bad for quality. When there's mold, mold spores spread. So it's gonna spread to all those flowers, which is gonna cause your flowers not to last near as long as they should. Here's another view of how soft those roses really are. Definitely, those are gonna fall apart in a day.
Comparison and Condition
Time Stamp: 01:56-02:31
The tulips, they're already blown. Tulips need to be in water, not in hot atmosphere. There's a comparison of what I got versus what I ordered, which is, it's close. The actual arrangement on the website is a lot fuller and has a lot more purple and pink. You can see that tulip is damaged and not in good condition. There's another shot of the blown roses. Overall, the arrangement is pretty.
Delivery Confirmation and Overall Rating
Time Stamp: 02:31-02:47
One last thing to touch on is that I did not receive this delivery confirmation until the day after at 8:20 a.m. So if I was waiting for that email to hit to let me know my recipient received my arrangement, I would not have known the same day. Out of five stars, I would give their design a four, the quality of the flowers a two, and the delivery a two for missing the time delivery. Overall, I would give Ace's Flowers of Houston a score of three stars.
